depends on the type and whether it is custom made in which case it is probably not too bad compared to one you can be put in at a hospital which after a short time become very uncomfortable. i suggest you visit some places that sell wheelchairs and try them out. be thankful you don't have to spend your life in them but i guess people who do are grateful for being mobile.
