Red Nurse MY belly Button is really red and sore inside. I'm not sure why. I'm a nurse, any ideas?
I've been trying to keep it dry but I don't know how it got like this or why but if anyone has any ideas, let me know. I am a Nurse but I've never had a sore belly button before. I was just looking for some ideas. Thanks to all who really answer the questions on answers. no its not pierced
your belly button gets dirt incrusted in it . we dont pay attention to this because we dont know this can happen. bit its like your ears. they have folds in them and dirt can get stuck in them and hard and crusty. if you have dirt in your belly button and its been there for a long time it can get infected and irritated causing redness. get a tweeser and open it up with your fingers and peal the crusty dirt off. and wash with warm water... if this doesnt cler it up or you dont see dirt in it (it will look like your skin tone but thicker) then go see a doctor.. hope this helps cheers jo
