Diabetes Meter Where in the Uk can I get a Diabetes Bayer Contour meter?
I was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I want to get a bayer Contour meter, to help me control it. but me and my mum had a look around and we couldn't find anywhere in the UK to get one. Does anyone know if there's a place I can get one, and If so, where? x really appreciated.
Hey, It seems your heart is set on the Contor Meter.... but why? If you wait a while I'm sure the clinic will get it in. You shouldn't pay for a meter seeing how the ones supplied by the diabetic clinics are excellent (they have to be). Have you also considered that you will need more than one meter, two at least incase the first one has an accident! So unless you wanna buy two you will have to get two sets of strips for the different monitors which is a lot of bother tbh! Currently I'm using the Accu-Check Aviva, its an excellent meter without much faults in my opinion. Good Luck! =D
