Brace Stabilizer

how do i walk around with the brace??

i dislocated my patella, knee cap, and now i have a patella stabilizer. my knee cap is pretty much held in place and it hurts like that. but on my physical therapy sheet it says to put weight on it as bearable. but how do i walk (on crutch assistance) with this thing? i cant bend my knee, my knee cap is pinned by the brace. so im scared to put my foot down.... can i do that with out making the knee cap wiggle and hurt?
