Medical Knee What is the medical/formal term for a knee bubble?
One of my volleyball teammates injured her knee (i was told a bubble in her knee or something) while she was diving for a ball it expanded or something? and I was hoping to find out more about the condition, sorry i have so little to go by, but if you cuold help that would be greaT!
It's hard to tell from your description, but it might be bursitis. Bursitis involves swelling of the bursa, which are little sacks that help muscles glide smoothly over bones without friction. When the bursa swell up, movement in that area can be painful.
