Lcd Digital Can you repair just the backlight to an lcd digital camera?
I bought my boyfriend a brand new Panasonic Lumix camera with Leica lens and then took it on holiday and dropped it. From then on, it takes perfect pictures but on the LCD screen it seems like the backlight has gone because you can still see the picture, just not brightly lit up. Is this easy to repair? And would anybody be able to recommend a reasonable repair shop in the north of england, around the sheffield region? I'd appreciate any help! Thanks!
