Diabetic Sock Are there special socks or shoes to wear around the swimming pool?
I'm diabetic and exercise by swimming, but i'm afraid that i might cut or injure my feet while swimming or walking around the pool. SORRY. I MEAN SHOES OR SOCK THAT I CAN WEAR INTO THE SWIMMING POOL.
There are alot a different kinds of shoes for pool/beach wear. They're basically rubber based so you won't slip, and protect your feet from rough surfaces, rocks, sharp objects, etc. You can find some at a lot of general places such as walmart, or you can even shop online. One of the sight I found is quite helpful for even just looking for styles when you go shopping. For me personally, I just wear flip flops, but if you like an actually shoe they make many kinds that are all rubber (similar to crocs), some with a netting material on top, and some with straps as well.
