Chair Bench chair or bench dips???? 5 sets of 10 reps???????
what does all this mean i ask a question but i don't know what these mean?
what are reps? and what do sets mean?????
Chair or bench dips: You are going to put your feet straight out in front of you while sitting on the edge of the chair/ bench. Support your body with your hands on the edge of the chair/ bench and slide your butt off the chair/ bench. Now lower yourself until the upper part of your arm, between your shoulder and elbow, is parallel to the floor. Do this 10 times - hence 10 reps. You have now completed your first set. Stop for a 30-60 sec break then repeat for your remaining 4 sets.
Each time you perform the motion of an exercise, it is a rep (ie: repetition).
A certain number of reps will equal one set.
In this case, 10 reps will equal 1 set and therefore you will do a total of 50.
