Beat Rate How exercise affects the rate of heart beat?
I'm doing a coursework at school for biology.It's my first ever coursework and i don't have a clue of what i'm doing. Therefore please, pretty please, help me with the question written above!!!
As you excercise the heart rate increases as you need more oxygen to flow into the tissues and muscles that are being used and for more carbon dioxide to be expelled. in a normal person with a normal heart and weight the heart beat after moderate excercise should return to normal within a few mins. The more unhealthy you are the longer it takes your heart to return to normal. On the contrary side the healthier and fitter you are the quicker your heart rate returns to normal. A good experiment is with excercise bikes and douglas air bags ........try reading about it ...it will make it easier to understand .
